1. Data we collect

  • Account information: name, email, phone, password (hashed).
  • Seller fields: farm name, farm location.
  • KYC: NRC number and uploaded NRC document (only when you choose to verify).
  • Payment metadata: gateway transaction tokens (we never store card numbers).
  • Bidding activity: bids, watches, IP address, user agent.

2. Why we collect it

To operate the marketplace, prevent fraud, contact you about your activity, and comply with Zambian law (including AML/KYC).

3. Sharing

We share data with the payment processor (DPO Group) for transaction settlement, with the email provider (Resend) for transactional mail, and with regulators when legally required. We do not sell your data.

4. Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for the period required by tax and audit obligations after closure. NRC documents are retained for the minimum period required by law.

5. Your rights

Under Zambian data protection law you may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion. Use the Data Export page in your dashboard for a copy, or the Delete my account page to request deletion.
