1. Auction sales are final

A winning bid is a binding contract. Refunds are not available simply because a buyer changes their mind.

2. Exceptions

You may be eligible for a refund or partial refund if any of the following apply:

  • The seller fails to deliver the lot within the agreed handover window.
  • The animal materially differs from the listing description (e.g. wrong breed, undisclosed disease).
  • The lot is found to be misrepresented and the seller does not remedy within 7 days.

3. Process

Submit refund requests via our contact form within 14 days of payment. Provide photos, vet reports, or other evidence. AgriBid reviews each request and, where appropriate, mediates between buyer and seller.

4. Platform fees

Where a refund is approved, the buyer's premium and gateway fees are refunded; the platform commission may be retained where the issue is between buyer and seller and AgriBid only mediated.
